The children were asked to design scenes depicting the local area, including the history of the local area. The children worked from some initial ideas and were supported by Mr McInroy and Mrs Luker.
A&E Elkins who are working on a large project on the flats in the local area used the designs to create a permanent digital hoarding behind the bike/scooter rack.
A&E Elkins provided and installed the hoarding for free as part of their community scheme. Today two members of staff from A & E Elkins presented the children with book tokens to recognise them for their designs.
