Throughout the last week of term leading up to Friday 20th October, St Peter’s Primary School took part in celebrating International Week 2017.
International Week is a wonderful celebration of the many languages,
religions and cultures that come together at our school and throughout the country. During this week, the children took part in a number of fun and interesting workshops such as African Drumming, stories from around the world, food from Africa, Asia, India, South America and Europe and much, much more.
On the Friday the children, staff, parents and carers came together for our International Food Fair where children and adults wearing traditional dress from their country of origin sat down to some amazing food from around the globe kindly brought in by our amazing parents.
We took some pictures throughout the week, which can be seen in the gallery below. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents for helping us to make this important week so very special.
